Princess Margaret Hospital Toronto, ON, Canada
Description
Hodess delivered this 1,355 SF modular pharmacy cleanroom under a design-build model, supplying and installing a fully turnkey ISO Class 7 and 8 environment for a healthcare facility. The multi-zone layout included sterile isolation, non-hazardous, and chemo/hazardous rooms, multiple ante-rooms, negative pressure storage, processing areas, and a neutral pressure airlock, with prefinished wall and ceiling systems, automatic doors, laboratory casework, four biosafety cabinets, two laminar flow hoods, and eight HEPA-ventilated pass-through units throughout. The system was seismically reinforced and independently certified across all zones.
Mechanical scope covered ductwork, air valves with reheat coils, centralized BACnet pressure monitoring, fan filter units, sprinkler extensions, and plumbing. Electrical work included a dedicated 100A panel, lighting and controls, equipment power wiring, intercom, and rough-ins for security, fire alarm, and structured cabling. Hodess coordinated all disciplines through commissioning and independent certification to final turnover.
