Our Work

Fujifilm Biotechnologies Project Galaxy Holly Springs, North Carolina

Description

Hodess delivered a comprehensive network of pharma-grade environmental rooms under a design-assist delivery model for Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies’ Project Galaxy, spanning 17,465 sf across five separate buildings at the site. The scope was built to Grade C coldroom standards and included 31 environmental rooms in total, ranging from 37°C ± incubators and 2-8°C pallet coolers to -40°C pallet freezers and -70°C flash freezers.

In addition to the room installations, Hodess conducted CFD analysis on each room and its associated systems to validate performance, and constructed a test unit for the blast freezers, allowing the client to verify operational performance before final delivery to site. All design-assist work was completed in Revit within the client’s central model, ensuring full coordination across the multi-building scope.

To further support seamless integration, Hodess also supplied the client with all storage and transfer carts, ensuring compatibility with the newly installed environmental rooms
