Description

Hodess delivered this 55,000 SF lithium-ion battery manufacturing project under a design-build model, constructing ISO Class 6 and ISO Class 7 dry rooms designed to maintain a -40°C dew point after assuming the project from a previous contractor. The scope included insulated tongue-and-groove perimeter panels for humidity control, conductive epoxy flooring, and a 2-inch nominal Power-T ceiling grid with 4’x4’ fan filters, radial diffusers, aluminum blank tiles, and T-5 2’x4’ light fixtures.

Hodess reviewed and preselected air handlers and desiccant dehumidifiers prior to installation, revised duct routing and air distribution, reworked return air systems, and completed HVAC ductwork, controls, electrical, and retrofits to recirculation units to prevent dust contamination at the HEPA filters, while managing all cleanroom protocol and cleaning through project completion.
